As a therapist, I seek to provide the sort of mental health services that I would want available to my father, my brother, and even myself. As a Black man, I understand the unique experiences of Black men in America and the ways in which these experiences contribute to mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, and stress. I also recognize that Black men are diverse and are not a monolith. With this in mind, I believe that Black men deserve care that understands both the uniqueness and diversity of Black men’s experiences, while also having a cultural awareness of the mental health needs of Black men.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Georgia with over 10 years of clinical experience. I specialize in individual therapy and have worked with diverse groups including active duty military, veterans, individuals battling addiction, clergy/faith communities, college students, the LGBTQIA+ community, senior adults, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
My approach to therapy is simple. I am committed to the mental health, emotional wellbeing, and general wellness of Black men. This understanding coupled with my formal training and life experience arms me with the ability to meet you where you are on your mental health journey and help navigate you toward your desired goals.
