Hello, my name is Veronika McQuiston. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 8 years of experience. My areas of expertise are addiction, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and trauma counseling. My approach to therapy is focusing on my clients' strengths to help them achieve the goals that they set for themselves in life. I have experience working with a wide variety of clients ranging from ages 5-99. The conditions that I am most comfortable treating are depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction.
My communication style is calm, personable, warm, and empathetic. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking to me about anything. I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment.
I decided to become a therapist because I have always been passionate about helping people through difficult times. Getting through the difficult times is what allows people to become the best version of themselves and I want to be a part of that journey.
