Hello. I am a licensed master social worker in Virginia, and Maryland. I received my bachelor's degree from Jackson State University and continued my education at Norfolk State University to obtain my master's degree. I have helped people navigate some of their most challenging traumatic experiences in the areas of sexual assault, abuse, bullying, parenting, and domestic/family violence. My other areas of focus have been work-related burnout, stress management, anger management, meditation, parenting, couples communications, school issues, home health, foster care, medication management, and depression.
I strive to empower my clients by offering a personalized and tailored plan. In therapy, it is important to meet people where they are in their life experiences. Focusing on rapport with the client allows the client to reach their full potential and lead a fulfilling life. I work predominately with children, adults, families, and first responders.
