My name is Veronica Vasquez, and I have an LCSW. I am down to earth in sessions and actively participate. I am able to both provide that empathetic listening ear but also get my clients back on track with coming up with action steps to tackle challenges. My approach in therapy is present and future-focused. I have an eclectic approach and believe that therapy should be tailored to the client's needs. If something is not working, it's important for the client and me to discuss it to see how I can best support the client.
I have experience working with all ages, but my current focus is pre-teens - adulthood. The most common conditions I have worked with are anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and life adjustments.
I create an accepting, comforting environment for my clients so they can be accepted for authentically who they are. I am patient, understanding, and compassionate. I am also straightforward with my clients.
