About
**Openings, telehealth only; Biweekly Monday Am; Thurs 8am, Thurs 10am** I aim to provide person-centered therapy that lets you guide the conversation and treatment. I work to meet you where you're at with a focus on your personal goals. I provide individual therapy with a focus relationship issues, and mental health issues and substance use. I value one's ability/right/journey to be themselves. Helping you become comfortable in the room is a strength of mine.
I am trained in the following treatments: Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Strengths Based, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use a mix of tools in order to assist you to meet your goals. Maple, my therapy-dog-in-training, is available to provide comfort and affection as we work together to explore challenges and learn self-care skills.
I recognize how hard it can be to start therapy and aim to be supportive to help you find relief, solutions and understanding. Though problems cannot be solved in a single session, I try my best to have you leave with a new skill, a new idea to be curious about or a small achievable goal that you set for yourself to work on between appointments.
