People come to therapy for so many different reasons. Some may be facing grief or change, some may be living with anxiety or depression, some may feel lost. Whether it's deeper things lying beneath the surface or addressing the overwhelm of everyday taks, I want to help. I believe everyone deserves a place where they can be seen, heard and supported without judgement.
Continually overcoming my own struggles are what led me to become a therapist. I started as a client and I know what it's like to sit in that chair. I used to wonder if things could really get better. I would still be wondering were it not for my therapist.
I can help by listening and understanding. We all experience things differently, so I spend time genuinely considering your circumstances and highlighting your strengths. I primarily use a combination of psychodynamic and family systems therapy to better understand your story, and utilize approaches like CBT, DBT, and ACT to help enact change when needed.
It certainly won't be easy and relief may take time, but still I implore you to chose yourself. We all deserve to be seen and heard and we must begin by seeing and understanding ourselves.
