After a pandemic and presidential election I think it is safe to say a lot of us are lost. I am Veronica S. Hill, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the District of Columbia and Maryland and I am here to support you and your family get back on the right track. I have over 10 years of experience assisting adolescents, young adults and their families in achieving their goals in their academic, family, and social settings. I specialize in working with clients who are dealing with complex issues within their home, school, or community. In addition, I am able to support life transitions such as moving, attending a new school, dealing with a divorce or processing a familial death. I work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
I truly believe that the most meaningful aspect of my work is not only the progress I make with my clients, but the support to sustain such progress through family partnerships. Currently, I am offering parent coaching sessions for families to recognize and build on their own strengths to enhance their natural problem-solving abilities.
