No two clients are the same, and each client deserves their own personalized path to mental wellness.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients understand the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Using Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), a skills-based approach, I help clients develop techniques to deal with big emotions and get through everyday challenges.
I hold a BA in Social Work from the University of Arkansas and an MSW from the University of Houston. In Family and Protective Services, I worked to keep children in their homes and ensured the safety of children returning to their home or being adopted. At Sun Behavior Hospital, I treated adolescent mental health concerns directly.
