About
There is nothing more painful than the death of a loved one. Taking a first step to engage in therapy could be a very difficult decision. If you are here, it means that you have decided to take a step towards your healing. Grief is not only the loss of a loved one, but may also be a life changing event such as the end of a relationship, moving to a new country, or a change in living conditions. Losses can be both sudden and predictable. Predictable losses have the added layer of waiting for the loss to happen, followed by the loss itself. Grieving can be overwhelming and isolating. Find in our sessions a safe space to heal.
I specialize in grief counseling. I utilize an eclectic approach to meet and adapt to the individual’s needs utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Holistic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness. Expressive Arts and Play Therapy techniques are also utilized to assist in identifying and communicating emotions when needed.
My goal is to provide a warm and safe environment and the support needed to navigate this very difficult time. I want to help you understand your emotions and the depth of your grief. Together, we will develop healthy coping skills that will facilitate your understanding of your emotions. Don’t go through this process alone. I am here to help.
