I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Yoga teacher and Certified Personal Trainer. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in mental health literacy. I wrote a master thesis on understanding mental health literacy and stigma in hispanic women. I also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Health Promotion and Fitness) and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Texas at Austin. I have experience working with adolescents and adults, my passion is to provide support and tools to live a healthy balanced life.
In our first session, we will get to know each other. Discuss what has brought you to therapy and along with a history. This will also help guide our plan for therapy and help me create a plan for our future sessions. Having been a therapist for 8 years as having worked im healthcare for over 15 years.
I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating challenges from school, work or interpersonal relationships. My clients are looking for safe space for reflection and to obtain tools to reach their goals.
