I believe all clients have their own intuitive wisdom, but when we experience traumatic life experiences, we disconnect from ourselves and others for protection. Healing involves reconnection. A big part of this healing involves grief work. I support and guide clients as they grieve, heal, reconnect, and learn to trust the intuition that has always been there.
I believe people heal best in safe relationships; I'm committed to creating safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship which is foundational. Talk therapy can be beneficial, but it’s limited by itself because it can’t access the subcortical areas of the brain where trauma is held. I am trained in Brainspotting to accelerate deeper healing.
