I am Veronica Coker, a Licensed Trauma Therapist. I work primarily with children that suffer from more than one Adverse Childhood Experience and have 10 years of working in behavioral therapy. I am here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and guarantee top of the line counseling and psychological services catered to their needs. I have provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with difficult life experiences. My number one priority is to focus on my is to focus on my clients happiness and success.
During sessions, I act as a compassionate facilitator, listening without judgment and acknowledging the client’s experience without shifting the conversation in another direction. I encourage and support the client without interrupting or interfering. This process allows self-discovery and the uncovering of what hurts and what is needed for repair.
My therapeutic style is primarily Person-centered therapy that focuses on a non-authoritative approach. This style allows clients to take more of a lead in sessions such that, in the process, they discover their own solutions. My therapeutic style can also pull from various models to find what works best for the client while meeting them where they are.
