My name is Veronica Arellano and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, and intimate partner violence using a trauma informed approach. I have found that this approach works well with adults who have unresolved traumas that sometimes present themselves when the person is under stress, and or when they encounter new life transitions, and challenges. I can help guide you to get through them.
My communication style is calm with positive regard while also keeping things real, as the focus is on getting your goals met. I want my clients to feel comfortable with sharing anything with me knowing that I will be understanding and invested in their wellbeing.
My approach to therapy is to individualize based on the needs of the client. I most often use Psychodynamic Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy while also weaving other modalities as needed. This approach helps us gain insight and direction to get you feeling better as soon as possible.
