Currently not accepting new clients. Life can be complex: relationships, family, school, work. Our lives can be further challenged by the unique aspects of our times. We are under constant bombardment of information, straining our ability to focus and compartmentalize. Factors such as trauma, shame and guilt further complicate things. My approach is to help "break it down and make it simple". This means helping people untangle their thoughts, pressures and feelings, while collaboratively devising plans aimed at learning to manage and alleviate whatever symptoms are causing distress.
I work over telehealth with individuals that are LGBTQIA+ (while they may or may not identify as being a part of this "community", for sake of ease of description, I use this acronym). Often people come to me with depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, and eating disorders. They want to live with less shame and more ease through out their days and lives. They want to be able to feel safe, seen, heard, and understood as much as possible. I am passionate about serving these marginalized folks and acknowledge intersectionality of various identities within each individual. Sliding scale options are full at this time.
What gets in the way of you achieving your goals or of feeling a sense of joy? How do you want this day to unfold? My goal is to create a safe space to work together to deepen our understanding of the places where you are struggling right now and to uncover your strengths. I believe that you already have what you need inside of you. I am a warm and compassionate listener and I can offer evidence based and creative approaches to help you gain both the self-awareness and the concrete skills necessary to transform your challenges.

We will travel together on this path and find ways to support a life of health and wellbeing that are meaningful to you.
