Veritas Mental Health is a Utah County therapy practice helping teens, young adults, adults, couples, and families heal through honest, supportive connection. Our tagline, "Healing Through Connection," reflects what we believe: people heal best when they feel understood, respected, and safe enough to grow. Our therapists strive to honor your values and help you build healthier relationships, stronger emotional patterns, and lasting change. We offer in-person and telehealth therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, faith transitions, pornography addiction, perfectionism, burnout, family stress, and life transitions.
Our Team
You’re not failing God, and you’re not broken. When every thought becomes a moral test, every mistake feels devastating, or forgiveness never lasts, anxiety may be running your faith. In therapy, you’ll learn to recognize scrupulosity, religious OCD, perfectionism, and fear-based patterns without abandoning your values. The goal is not less faith. It is more peace, freedom, joy and trust in yourself.

My ideal clients are adults, teens, and couples in Utah County stuck in patterns of shame, secrecy, or self-criticism, often tied to eating disorders, pornography or sexual addiction, or the overwhelm of ADHD. Many have tried therapy before and left feeling like they only talked in circles. Others are new to counseling, carrying anxiety, trauma, faith questions, or family conflict they've never said out loud. My approach is collaborative and connection-focused, but the goal is always forward motion: real, lasting change, so clients move past what's holding them back instead of revisiting it session after session.

If you keep checking your feelings, comparing your partner, replaying doubts, or waiting for perfect certainty before marriage, anxiety may be making the decision for you. You are not broken, and your relationship may not be wrong. Therapy can help you recognize relationship OCD, stop feeding the cycle, and make choices from your values instead of fear. You do not need complete certainty to build a healthy relationship.

I help LDS teens and adults who are exhausted from trying to do everything right and still wondering if they’ve done enough. You may replay conversations, second-guess decisions, question your intentions, or worry that one mistake means more than it should. Anxiety, perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, or painful experiences can make it hard to trust yourself and feel at peace. I help you understand what’s driving these patterns and change them without asking you to set aside your faith or values. Therapy is active, practical, and focused on helping you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship conflict — including teens in crisis or coming out of one. I spent over five years supporting young people through a crisis shelter, so I know how to stay steady with someone when things feel like too much. Many clients come to me after white-knuckling it alone, unsure where to start. My approach is collaborative and solution-focused: we name what's actually keeping you stuck, then build practical tools that hold up outside the session, not just in it.
