I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My goal is to help you create the life you want to live. I do this by meeting you where you are, no matter where that might be. We all face trauma, loss, grief and unexpected life transitions. But these moments do not have to define our lives. Together we can successfully process and move through the pain, conflict and difficulty so that you can feel in control of your life again. I approach with a non-judgmental stance, so no topic, conflict or situation is out of bounds.
I specialize in individual, adolescent and adult, psychotherapy and couple's counseling. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples in crisis with ongoing follow up therapy, until a "new normal" is found. My clients feel supported as we, together, choose our multi-modal approach and define our goals.
Additionally, I have been practicing as a Certified Hypnotherapist since 2001. I facilitate smoking cessation, pain management, specific anxieties (test taking, public speaking, flying as examples) and nutritional and lifestyle health.
