I have a passion for working with women and couples as they prepare for pregnancy and parenthood. My training and experience includes areas of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders, preparation for parenthood, life transitions, teen mood & anxiety disorders, and attachment. I am available to work with adults and teens. I enjoy working with diverse cultures and the LGBTQ+ community.

The goal of treatment is to provide outpatient mental health services, which eliminate or substantially reduce communication and/or social/ cultural barriers. My treatment encourages the involvement of natural support systems available to individuals and families. The goal is the client should live in the community as least restrictively as possible an environment, with minimal Dependance on public safety and acute care resources. To enable patients to establish or maintain appropriate residences and or to advert crisis and re-hospitalization or more restrictive levels of care. The client has the right to refuse treatment.

Welcome! My style is warm, creative and interactive. Therapy can be fun. We laugh a lot. You will be seen, heard and not judged. I use Insight, Rogerian and Cognitive Behavioral therapies amongst others. Like others have, you too can learn to find acceptance and thrive. I support people in finding their voices both literally and figuratively. I work well with people from 5 up including those who have complex behavioral and mental health needs. It is easy to get lost in the rat-race of modern-day life and trapped in unjust systems. Taking space to foster healing and engage in creative expression reduces the risk of burn-out. I believe that utilizing creative exercises alongside traditional talk-therapy is incredibly powerful for anyone. My goal is to support marginalized and oppressed groups such as the disabled community, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people of color.

When I treat people who struggle with eating and body image issues and related challenges with anxiety, depression and relationships, every person is treated with their own, individual needs in mind. While they are passionate about working with LGBTQIA folx as well as others who have been marginalized or feel left out from society, Ben welcomes working with people of all backgrounds to foster self-exploration, healing, and growth.
