As Black men a lot of us have been socialized in ways that makes maintaining deep relationships a challenge. Whether the cause is unresolved trauma, communication skills with room for improvement, socialization of our masculinity or anything else, allowing the issue to go unresolved creates tension where there could be harmony. A lot of us developed defenses for remaining safe in a world we feel isn’t safe for us. We also develop dynamics in our relationships where we may continue deploying defenses in safe spaces, preventing ourselves from receiving love and loving to our fullest capacity.
I help Black men overcome barriers between themselves and loving to the best of their ability so they can create their most fulfilling relationships. Together we will embark on a journey of exploring your relationships, establishing insight, and utilizing tools to establish, improve and maintain your most meaningful relationships.
