Hi! I'm Vanessa. I'm a first-generation immigrant based in San Diego, CA. Originally from South East Asia, I've worked and lived in Singapore, Taiwan, and Buffalo, NY. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me cooking, playing softball, snuggling under a heated blanket, or playing fetch with my dog!
I love the storytelling of my clients. I believe our core relationships shape who we are in powerful ways. They influence how we see ourselves, the decisions we make, and the people we choose to keep close. We will sort through what matters most and focus on what feels realistic and helpful, together.
I specialize in supporting young adults as they navigate life transitions and make sense of their relationships—whether familial, romantic, or platonic. I believe our core relationships are foundational to the self and inform the ways in which we make the life decisions we do and choose the people we choose.
