Hi! I'm Vanessa, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I'm a first generation immigrant based in San Diego, CA. Originally from South East Asia, I've worked and lived in Singapore, Taiwan, and Buffalo, NY. I love cooking, board game nights, heated blankets, and playing fetch with my dog! I love the story-telling of my clients - there's so much to be learned from the life experiences that we have, the minute details that stick with us after all these years, and the takeaways from each life circumstance.
I typically work with teenagers, couples, and young adults. I have been practicing since 2015 and my areas of focus are relationships - familial, romantic, platonic. I believe our core relationships are foundational to the self and inform the ways in which we make the life decisions we do and choose the people we choose.
Throughout our time together, I'm going to be real with you and I hope you will be with me too.
