Reaching out for help during difficult times in your life can feel unnerving. The truth is healthy people ask for help when they need it. I know, not ideal, but let's roll with it. Building a strong connection with your therapist is one of the largest predictors for therapy success. I am a little fiery & I like to tell it like it is. I tend to be more casual in my interactions & I try to bring a sprinkle of humor into the therapy room when I can. I have my client's best interest in mind while guiding them toward their goals. I like to hit the ground running, & I feel honored when clients trust me to be part of their journey.
I choose empirically validated treatments, which are therapeutic techniques that have been scientifically tested and have been shown to be valid and effective for the concern that is being treated. I often utilize techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ERP, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I am passionate about the services I provide and I am here to guide and support you in your efforts to increase functioning, decrease stress and symptoms, and stay committed to your own values.
