I work with individuals and couples to go beneath the surface - the emotions, fears, and old wounds that quietly shape the way you think, feel, and connect. Together, we’ll listen to what your distress is trying to tell us, and help you build new ways of relating — to yourself and others — that feel calmer, safer, and more fulfilling. It’s hard to keep moving when you feel disconnected from yourself or the people you love. Maybe you’re tired of being the strong one, of holding everything together, or of repeating the same patterns. On the outside, you’re coping — but inside, it feels like something needs care and attention.
With couples, I help partners change the patterns that keep them feeling hurt, misunderstood, or alone. I can help you improve communication, resolve old conflicts, and deepen emotional intimacy. As we uncover the deeper fears and needs beneath the surface, you’ll learn to speak and listen in new ways, helping you turn toward each other instead of away.
In individual therapy, we can explore how your early experiences taught you to cope or protect, what parts of you feel overwhelmed, hurt, or shut down, and what you long for in your life and relationships. I offer a specialty in working with ADHD, its gifts and challenges, and the ways it plays out at work, school, or in love relationships.
