Welcome to my profile! I work primarily with adults and young adults surrounding relationships issues, grief, decision-making/feeling stuck, and managing big emotions. I like to use strength-based approaches which include learning problem solving skills, understanding current unhealthy coping while replacing them with healthy manageable skills, and using grounding techniques to help center us when we are under stress. I work with individuals with various identities and backgrounds who are having interpersonal, and intrapersonal issues;
this includes, but not limited to, processing any form of breakups, and understanding wide range of emotions that come from life stresses. I enjoy using an intersectional approach when working with individuals- knowing that issues are interrelated so it is important to understand how systems affect each part, and how those parts contribute to the whole.
While also doing private practice, I am also an individual and group therapist at Brandeis University. I work with students with different identities, and have a primary focus of working with first generation college students. I also run a break-up group at the university.
