| Deutsch Psychology and the human mind have been of interest to me from a young age. Growing up in a multicultural household, as well as life experience makes it easy for me to relate to individuals and families from all walks of life. Therapy can help uncover the underlying causes of worries and fears, learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills in an effort to elicit behavioral change. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy, to fit my client’s needs.
Even though I have experience in treating a vast variety of issues, I specialize in addictions, eating disorder and crisis intervention. It is my goal to assist clients in enhancing their overall ability to cope with stressors, increase self-awareness, and enhance resiliency.
It is important to me to consider the uniqueness of each client and their challenges. I believe in transparency and honesty of both sides to make the therapeutic relationship effective. I offer a judgement free environment creating a safe space for clients to work through life’s challenges.
