My name is Vanessa Gonzalez, LMFT. My focus is children, adolescents, and parenting skills to provide the most growth for the youth. I have a history of working closely with foster youth, children in kinship Care, as well as children in a traditional home setting. I have worked with children experiencing anxiety, trauma, children living with ADHD, grief, separation, and divorce. I am familiar with the use and skills of Trauma Focused CBT, Cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, parenting skills, and more. I believe that each person has was it takes to achieve their goals and just needs some assistance to facilitate change.
I would like to provide each individual with a safe non judgemental space. I also like to set up the environment as fun, educational, and understanding. The best part of working with children and youth is being able to meet them where they are at and allow them to feel heard and understood.
