I'm passionate about helping clients work through trauma/PTSD, anxiety & panic attacks, interpersonal relationship concerns, depression, loneliness, perfectionism, dysfunctional family systems, people-pleasing, communication issues, multicultural identity concerns, faith struggles, and ADHD. I strive to take the time to engage with each person’s unique personality and story and believe that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I take a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy - meaning focus is on you as a whole person and reviewing your goals and concerns.
I like to think of counseling like a playground sandbox - a safe place to learn, grow, and to explore and test out new ways of doing life and relationships. I love teaching clients more about the brain and the “whys” behind what goes on in therapy, and I enjoy including play and humor in counseling, when appropriate. I also utilize EMDR.
