However, avoidance does not bring healing. I am driven to assist my clients to develop a deeper level of awareness and to discover their own insights about childhood patterns, their behaviors, and thoughts about their relationships and communication styles.
When working with children, I believe that helping the child and his/her parent(s) to understand each other is imperative to enhancing relationships and in decreasing the display of problematic behaviors.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, parent educator, and individual therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, working in schools, with a special interest in children on the autism spectrum and with developmental delays. I work with all ages and stages, from the youngest of children to older adults.
