My goal is to provide space and empathy for your life. My experience has been built in transitions including grief, chronic illness, aging, caregiving stress, and end-of-life. I feel strongly that each client is their own expert to their own journey and that my role as a therapist is to meet the client where they are at in that story and establish a safe relationship of listening without judgement. I also have worked with those dealing with depression, anxiety and other adjustment-based needs.
My approach is client-centered & integrative, using tools of active listening, validation, goal setting & problem-solving. I am influenced by multiple approaches, including Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral & Mindfulness based work. I also have further training in Prolonged Grief Treatment.
