About
If you're feeling stuck and frustrated that you can't seem to manage your life the way you would like, it may be time to seek help. Many people struggle and suffer unnecessarily, when all they need is a fresh perspective, a nudge in the right direction, or a new skill or two to help them reach their goals. With a focus on acceptance and empowerment, my goal in working with you will be to help you understand and accept where you are and how you got there, then establish goals for moving toward the life you desire.
I specialize in treating anxiety, panic, and OCD; headache and chronic pain conditions; stress-related and stressful medical conditions. My theoretical orientation is primarily cognitive-behavioral, which means we work together to help you develop healthier ways of thinking about your situation, along with new skills and habits to improve your quality of life.
My training program specialized in Health Psychology, the treatment of problems involving the relationship between physical and mental health and wellbeing. I strive to assist the "whole person," making sure we consider all facets of physical, emotional, relational and spiritual wellbeing as you recreate a life of choice and fulfillment.
