I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California and have over 12 years of clinical practice and 8 years of forensic experience assessing and treating a variety of Mental Health symptoms and disorders in both English and Spanish of culturally diverse individuals and families. Before starting my private practice, I worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health and substance abuse clinics, client homes, At-Risk Youth and schools. I conduct assessments for immigration purposes and am also a licensed Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) disability claims.
I use a Cognitive-Behavioral approach with an understanding of how past events shape our perception of the present and future. I focus on modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts in an effort to free oneself from negative patterns of thinking and behaving.
