I became a therapist after medical retirement from the U.S Army as I discovered a passion for understanding mental health and improving the overall quality of life. My path was shaped by personal experiences, including struggling to find the right therapist. I aim to be someone who listens, respects your pace, and meets you where you are. I believe therapy should feel safe, person-centered, and built on trust. You set goals and boundaries while I support you using integrative approaches like CBT, IFS, somatic, and narrative techniques. I especially enjoy working with children, teens, and those facing substance use disorders.
I offer my full attention and adapt my approach based on individual needs and preferences. I welcome feedback and remain flexible, focusing on supporting you in the way that feels most helpful to you rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe goals should be client-driven and without rush- this is your life and I'm here with you!
I welcome those who are ready to process, heal, and work toward a better quality of life to reach out. Whether you are moving forward from others’ actions or your own, I recognize the courage it takes to begin. I have walked that path too, and I am here to support you through yours.
