About
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. I am honored to have worked with a diverse clientele for over 20 yrs . My initial specialization was psycho-dynamic in nature, focused on treating children and adolescents utilizing expressive therapies. I am also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, Family Systems and Solution-Focused therapies . It is my belief that no matter our age we all have the same basic need for connection, unconditional acceptance and support, as well as creative and flexible interventions that meet our individual needs and help us feel heard.
Areas of specialization for me are, treating adult and child clients who are experiencing significant life stressors, addressing trauma or coping with difficult adjustments. I support clients in addressing relational issues and symptoms of depression and anxiety. I have experience working with youth with learning disabilities and high-functioning ASDs
I have enjoyed working with diverse populations in community mental health as wells as my private practice for the last 17 +years. . I look forward to meeting my clients where they are and to making quality mental health services more accessible to everyone. I offer a reduced student and senior rate based on need.
