Welcome! My name is Valerie Morales and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with over 8 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I utilize various therapeutic modalities to fit the individual needs of each client specifically cognitive behavioral, client centered and existential interventions. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting problems, relationship issues, trauma, addiction, grief, and difficulty adjusting to life changes.
My approach to therapy is warm and empathetic. I emphasize building a trusting relationship with my clients in a non-judgmental environment. I trust that each client is an expert on themselves and I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
