Seeking therapy is one of the bravest things you can do. Accepting that you need help in resolving your struggles does not mean there is something "wrong" with you, but rather that you LOVE yourself enough to do what you need to do to get better. I look forward to developing a strong and safe relationship between us as I join you on your journey toward healing. I do this by working to understand you, your concerns, and your background, particularly those factors that may have shaped who you are and may have contributed to your current problems. I provide therapy services to adults 18+.
I believe struggles like depression and anxiety often stem from relationship concerns or identity conflict. Therefore, I seek to understand your relationships (past/present), your multiple identities (ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, etc.), and how these might be interacting with other factors to result in your struggles.
ADHD can affect people across the life span and, when not properly diagnosed and treated, can lead to a lifetime of struggles, including low self-esteem, negative self-talk, and inaccurate perceptions of self. I am dedicated to assessing children (10+), adolescents, and adults so they can receive the support they need to mitigate those long-term struggles.
