Are you ready to make sustainable life changes? Do you want to change your relationship with food and your body? Are you in need of changing your critical internal voice? Can you imagine a life free of judgement and fear? What will you spend your time, energy and focus on once free of self-destructive, critical, and demeaning self-talk and behaviors? While it can feel impossible to imagine a life without these behaviors it is possible. As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist I utilize DBT, CBT and ACT philosophies to help you create change.
Finding a therapist can be difficult and overwhelming. By using a direct, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach I will help you create long-term, sustainable changes so you can learn to effectively cope with difficult life circumstances, painful emotions, traumatic memories and distressing thoughts.
I utilize evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness based therapies; emphasizing choice, resiliency and authenticity to help move you towards your goals and live the life you want to live. I accept BCBS PPO and offer competitive cash rates.
