Hi there! My name is Valerie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a EMDR Trained Therapist in Texas. I hold years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages and from various backgrounds. My expertise includes trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, coping skills, self-esteem, relationships/familial issues, major life changes, and behavioral concerns. I understand the importance of allowing time to establish and build trust with each client, therefore, my approach includes providing all clients a comfortable space to process thoughts and feelings free of judgement.
Through the therapeutic process clients will be the navigator throughout their journey of healing. Through therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Play Therapy for children, as well as many others, Clients will be provided the support and guidance to process such emotions, feelings, and/or traumatic events.
