I have worked with people who have traumatic backgrounds, coping with grief and loss, managing chronic medical illnesses, undergoing painful life transitions, wading through difficult relationships, etc. My training focused on cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing and now I try to personalize an approach for each person.
A little about me: I am originally from the Midwest, though I have lived in New York City since 2012, working with several different populations as a social worker. I am a stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma survivor. Finally, I have a passion for offering support to parents with special needs children.
