About
Now Accepting Insurance. Therapy offers an opportunity to increase awareness and self-understanding. I partner with each individual to discover his/her/their pathway to wellness, one that can enhance growth, clarity, and inner wisdom. Change takes change, so we will explore adaptive skills including cognitive thought patterns, mindfulness, and self-compassion. My therapeutic style is respectful, warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic. We are all complex beings. As such, I honor that you are the expert of your own experience. Together, let's collaborate to achieve your therapy goals. Oregon Insurance Partners: Optum, Aetna, Cigna.
Life is full of dialects, from sadness to joy, endings to new beginnings. Learning to embrace the wholeness of life, without pushing it away or running from it, is the journey of being human. I strive to practice this principle daily myself, and draw from it as a foundational aspect of my clinical work.
One area in which I specialize is loss and life transitions including death, pet loss, divorce, geographic relocations, career transitions, aging, shifts in family roles or identity, declines in mental or physical functioning, losses of independence and autonomy, chronic and terminal illnesses, and end-of-life.
