Hello, I'm Val- I am a LMFT based in the Central Valley and working with clients across CA via Telehealth. I work with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties with codependency, anger, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach to therapy integrates CBT and attachment theories which enable an exploration of how attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors may be related to current difficulties. Through this exploration, life goals, communication, and conflict resolution skills, and coping strategies can be developed as the individual moves toward healing and growth.
I am experienced in working with individuals who are seeking to improve their lives and relationships, and who may have challenges with anger, anxiety, sex addictions, depression, and the aftermath of regrettable choices.
I also work with couples who seek to improve their communication, overall relationship satisfaction, co-parenting skills, and post-affair healing. I have extensive experience working with groups in sexual addiction, domestic violence/batterers intervention, and anger management.
