I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience helping people overcome a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions. I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow. In therapy, I help my clients to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also teach them coping skills and strategies for managing their anxiety, depression, or day to day stressors. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered. I believe that the best way to help someone is to listen to them and understand their unique needs.
The first session is about getting acquainted and building a foundation for future work. I will ask questions to understand what brings you to therapy. This might involve your symptoms, recent events, or past experiences that contribute to your current situation.
My greatest strengths as a provider is creating a safe and trusting space where clients feel comfortable sharing their vulnerabilities. I am able to understand and appreciate the unique experiences of clients from diverse backgrounds and analyze situations from different angles to help clients develop effective coping mechanisms.
