I am, Valeh Bahram-Soltani, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have worked in this field for approximately 20 years. I work with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, including LGBTQ individuals, at-risk youth, military and law enforcement families, single parents, and families navigating divorce or justice system involvement. I take pride in using evidence-based practices while honoring each person's unique story. My own experiences with mental health and witnessing the need for compassionate, effective care inspired me to become a therapist. I wanted to be part of creating positive change in this field.
Our first session is about getting to know each other in a safe space, where you'll share your story, goals, and concerns, while I explain my approach, confidentiality, and set expectations for building trust, ensuring you feel comfortable and understood without pressure to fix everything at once, as it's a collaborative start to your journey.
