Hello! I am Val and located in Oldtown Scottsdale.Are you feeling stuck, stressed, or depressed about life in general? Many of my clients are in their early to mid-adulthood, & are overwhelmed by life stressors & relationships. They are tired of feeling anxious, stuck, sad, angry, or lost. Anxiety, depression, overeating/drinking are all signs of deeper, underlying issues which I will gently assist you in processing, as well as help you see your strengths (yes, you have plenty of them!) My goal is for you to move thru the pain of your past, and give you skills so you can feel excited about your life ahead!
I will help you identify your goals and then integrate therapies such as EMDR (trauma therapy),CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS & person-centered approaches to help your life improve. In addition, I am full of TONS of compassion & down-to-earth with ALOT of life experiences that help you gain encouragement & practical tips to make the changes that we discover together.
I understand that finding a therapist whom you like is hard! I will make this a judgment-free, positive zone(and a bit enjoyable too):) I offer free phone consults to determine if we are a good match. I meet clients in person only bimonthly in Downtown Scottsdale or virtually (no evenings available). I look forward to talking to you!
