My mission in life is to assist others in developing their “Best-Self” to get as much pleasure from living their lives as they desire, which will be learned from their newfound insight through their own process and reflection work with me. This includes loving themselves, understanding their purpose in life, and developing a reflective self-care routine. Understanding that at certain points in our lives we all may "hit a wall" whether it be emotionally, financially, or physically; but too understanding that walls are put in place to for us to lean on, rest upon, and reset our plan to achieve our prospective goals.

If you are scouring over these therapist sites, you are in the market to find some help. It can be daunting to call a therapist you have never met and try to find someone to understand you. You should take your time, interview therapists and find a good fit. It is okay to shop and to decide not to make an appointment. Or, if you choose to call and come in, please get to know me in the first session. Ask questions. I will outline the way I work, explain my philosophy and help you voice your goals for treatment. I will listen but will also tell you what I think. If directness is for you, I am your therapist.

Ideally, our early experiences of connection were secure, safe, accessible, and responsive and we developed an internal sense of ourselves as loveable, worthy, and deserving of getting our needs met. But what happens when this has not been our experience? Many of us have had to find ways to adapt and survive moments of disconnect, invalidation, or criticism. This can often mean we hold beliefs about ourselves that are limiting, worry that we have to hide or minimize parts of who we are, deny certain emotions, hustle for our worth, and/or build up layers of protection. I can support you to heal, connect and create lasting change.
What does a healthier you look like? We can find out by increasing your understanding of yourself, and improving your relationships with others. We focus on the topics you want to discuss, such as relationships, boundaries, coping skills, communication, self-care, etc. I will help you identify and process your emotions. Looking inside ourselves, the good and the painful, is a journey for those who want to grow and blossom into their true selves. The work is not easy or quick, however the progress made is yours to keep forever.
