Becoming a therapist has been my dream since I entered high school. Growing up within my family, I am known as the person everyone can go to with their issues, challenges, and struggles. The struggles, anxiety, depression, grief, and self-doubt we face with a therapeutic relationship can help bring healing and growth in those areas. My concern is to help families and individuals who feel drained and emotionally down have the support and help to bring them back to a stage of happiness and peace.

As a mental health therapist, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate life's challenges. With a degree in clinical mental health counseling from Marymount University and over 7 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. In 2017 I graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia with two master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my Practicum at a non-profit serving individuals with dual diagnosis mental health and substance abuse disorders. I later completed my two semester internship at Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc – Where I am currently working as a Therapist.

Dr. Kasey provides utilizes an affirming, evidenced-based approach in individual and couples therapy for adults and adolescents with a range of concerns, including anxiety, grief, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. Dr. Kasey also provides career-related coaching services and empowers professionals on their journey in career advancement, leadership, and managing people.

This work involves becoming unstuck emotionally and healing faulty relationship maps, losses, or traumatic wounds of the past. I can support you to resolve the unfinished business of the past so you don’t have to keep recreating it in the present and find that when clients create healing at the root cause, the symptoms are no longer needed. While pain and loss are inevitable, suffering is optional.
