At The Lamp Counseling Center, our goal is to provide an authentic, holistic, and individualized approach to the therapeutic relationship. Your experiences are your own and your treatment will reflect that, as we collaboratively engage in a variety of traditional and non-traditional approaches including culturally affirming Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Therapies, and Trauma-Informed Mindfulness. I strive to create a positive, caring environment where you feel safe, seen, and heard during your journey of healing and personal growth.
I am a nationally certified clinical mental health counselor and licensed psychotherapist in VA with over 20 years of experience in the helping profession and 15+ years as a counselor. I am a current doctoral student with a specialization in trauma. I offer individual (adolescents/adult), group, family, and couples counseling.
Along with therapeutic services, I run a community non-profit as well as serve full-time in ministry. You are not alone, allow me to be a lamp in your journey.
