Whether it's navigating relationships, managing daily stress, or building coping skills for anxiety, depression, anger, or self-esteem concerns, I'm here to help.
You’re the one who holds it together; until you can’t anymore. You feel stuck in patterns that keep repeating: emotional shutdowns, constant conflict, resentment, anxiety, or disconnection from the people you love most. You want real change, not surface-level coping. You want clarity, emotional safety, and relationships that don’t feel so hard. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to break cycles, understand the “why” beneath their reactions, and build healthier ways of showing up, at home, in relationships, and within themselves.

Individuals struggling with fear, anger, discouragement, anxiety, and trauma can find help, hope, and healing.
Many are called to the profession of counseling, but very few are chosen. I have been chosen to guide others in finding direction, insight, and purpose. I am confident, compassionate, and unwavering in my desire to help clients see the light in the face of darkness. While my general philosophy is that therapy should be interpersonal, client-centered, and support based, I also believe in asking tough questions that challenge my client's existing mental conceptions and problem solving methodologies. My personal motto is "Challenge the thinking; change the behavior." Your mind is the battlefield of your life. Let me help you win!

Have you been trying to overcome difficulties in your life only to find yourself still feeling stuck? Perhaps it is time to try something new. Therapy is a place where you can talk, think, feel, act and learn new ways of being yourself. I draw from psychodynamic and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) approaches and invite my clients into an open experiment in which we can bring maladaptive habitual patterns into awareness and allow new ways of being to emerge.¨ I believe therapy offers the chance for an honest relationship that facilitates that change.

I strongly believe that everyone has a story to tell. Sometimes, life and circumstances outside of our control muddy that story, leaving us confused and stuck in the same chapter over and over again. I work with clients from a person-centered perspective to identify their current needs and strengths. Utilizing evidenced-based practices and interventions, I aim to work alongside clients to foster resiliency and personal agency in writing their own narrative.

High achieving, mid-career professionals require a therapist who understands their concerns about seeking therapy - worry about impact on security clearance, being fit for duty, or staying in the pilot's seat. And yet...you want a confidential space in which to hash out some concerns. I specialize in supporting active duty service members, first responders, veterans, healthcare workers, pilots and others considered to have safety sensitive roles. I don't use AI or record any part of our sessions as you work through grief, trauma, moral injury, substance use, sexual concerns and bigger questions related to meaning and purpose.

I like to consider myself a therapeutic guide for my clients. Through a variety of therapeutic techniques we will go on a journey wherein my clients will learn about themselves. Throughout this journey we will confront obstacles, overcome anxieties, conquer fears and face down issues that are everything from minor struggles to major life issues. I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions so as never to be a "one size fits all" therapist. Every man, woman and child comes to therapy seeking inner peace, stability or just a safe space to talk. I like to think I can be that safe space for all of my clients.

Anger Management Therapists
How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.

How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.

Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.

What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
