I strongly believe in the core premise of EMDR that our past experiences and pains influence how we interact with our world today and resolving those pains can lead to the future we desire.
If you have ever asked yourself "why do I do this," or "why do I feel this way," I want you to know those are valid questions and the answers are not out of reach. I believe that you deserve the best version of yourself that you can have and that includes working through past trauma/experiences, anxiety, self-esteem, and other concerns. I have dedicated myself to help clients understand themselves more, help process and heal through, and assist in the journey of life. I believe you deserve to live life fully the way you want to, as who you are, and I use my expertise to support you wherever you are in the process.

I use modalities such as DBT/CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing (SE) and EMDR.
Does your mind feel like it never turns off—constantly racing, revisiting the same thoughts, or getting caught in emotional loops? You might notice anxiety showing up uninvited, stress taking over, or old wounds and grief resurfacing at the hardest times. Part of you wants to move forward, yet something keeps pulling you back—like you’re stuck between pushing ahead and holding yourself in place. It’s exhausting, and it can begin to touch every part of your life, including your ability to rest. But you don't have to keep living this way.

Using Target 2 Zero — a rapid trauma protocol I developed — my clients experience an average 84% reduction in PTSD symptoms, processed 86% faster than traditional EMDR, with zero dissociation.
Something happened — recently or years ago — and you haven't felt like yourself since. I work with trauma survivors, first responders, veterans, and professionals navigating the aftermath of a critical incident or single event that shifted everything. I also work with clinicians, executives, and high-performers who are noticing that something at work has changed — a case that got under their skin, a moment they can't stop replaying, a loss of the confidence they used to take for granted.

EMDR Therapists
Who is EMDR for?
EMDR was initially developed as a treatment for individuals with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for whom memories of a deeply distressing experience can be inadvertently triggered by random everyday events. The procedure has since been applied in the treatment of many other conditions. For example, it is used by some therapists to treat anxiety disorders including panic and phobias, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and some personality disorders. It is suitable for adolescents and adults.

Why do people need EMDR?
People need EMDR as a way to manage distressing memories that in some way hamper the ability to function in the present. The procedure is believed to target the way memories are stored in the brain. Evidence indicates that past disturbing experiences cause ongoing distress because they were not adequately processed, and when such memories are triggered in the present, they are accompanied by all the emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations as the initial experience.

What problems does EMDR treat?
First and foremost, EMDR is intended as a treatment for PTSD, to defuse distressing memories that intrude on and impair everyday functioning. It is also often used to help those who are subject to panic attacks, phobias, and other forms of anxiety. In addition, EMDR has been used to treat individuals with depression, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

What happens in EMDR therapy?
First the therapist takes an individual’s history, and then the therapist and client decide which distressing experience(s) will be the target(s) of the exercise, delivered via a side-to-side visual stimulus requiring lateral eye movements. The client will be asked to activate thoughts, feelings, and any body sensations related to the troubling experience. The eye movements are said to reduce the emotional charge of the memory, so that the experience can then be safely discussed with the therapist and digested, minimizing its ability to trigger anxiety.
