I provide therapy to adults who are ready to create profound, lasting change within themselves. Do you identify as a high achiever or a people pleaser? Do you find yourself going from over-working to zoned out and disconnected? Does it feel like no matter how hard you work or how much you do, you never feel good enough? Parts of you want to feel more connected and joyful, while other parts of you keep you distracted and disconnected. I help highly motivated individuals learn to understand themselves and resolve the conflict inside of them.

My experience includes working with teens and adults who have struggled with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, life adjustments, grief, trauma, mood disorders, sexual issues, substance abuse, and addictions. I have helped clients practice mindfulness, take accountability for their actions, and regain purpose in their life by changing unhealthy patterns to get to a place where life can be enjoyed again. We can work together to create a plan to manage life's obstacle that are keeping you from being the best version of yourself.

There is no manual for parenting. You may have a child or teen moving through the world looking through a neurodivergent lens. They may seem more sensitive, reactive or demand avoidant then their peers. Perhaps you are noticing your own sensory system is getting overloaded when your kids are pushing your buttons. Maybe your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, OCD or generalized anxiety disorder and you are realizing that you are a lot like your child but it never occurred to you that you may be neurodivergent yourself. Perhaps your child is gender expansive or LGBTQI+ and you are working hard to best understand them.

I’m so glad you’re here. For those who have experienced trauma or PTSD, life can feel like living in extremes. You might crave closeness yet fear it, or feel overwhelmed by emotion one moment and numb the next. Trauma often convinces us that we’re unworthy, unlovable, or “bad,” leaving us feeling out of control. Over time, you’ve likely become an expert at protecting yourself. Throughout treatment, we’ll work to break through those barriers and help you create a life that feels fulfilling and worth living.

Note: I am now accepting new group coaching clients only. I no longer offer individual therapy services. I am a Christian counselor/coach and my passion is helping people experience the power of real connection and break free from addictive and compulsive behaviors such as porn, sex, alcohol, drugs, food, work, video games, etc. After 20 years of providing both individual and group therapy, I have discovered that group work is the game-changer. Clients in weekly recovery groups consistently experience faster, deeper, and more lasting transformation, period. That’s why I now focus exclusively on the power of group coaching work.

Are you looking for in-person therapy in the NRV? Call today! Being human is hard, and we don't get an instruction manual. At times, we get stuck in patterns that prevent us from moving toward the things we want in life. Whether those patterns are thoughts, relationships, past hurts, or habits, therapy provides a safe place to explore those things which are no longer serving us, and the tools to approach these challenges in new ways. When we cultivate a supportive, warm, trusting relationship with ourselves, we start to navigate difficult situations with more ease and stability.

If only life came with a manual, then we wouldn’t need “leaders” to guide us, educate us, motivate us, and encourage us. Life would be perfect with blue skies and no worries. Well unfortunately it doesn’t and sometimes our worlds get cloudy, and we need a extra level of support to guide us through this journey of life. Sometimes change can be uncomfortable especially when you are vulnerable, but knowing that you need help is the first step to the healing process (So great job and kudos to you).
