I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. In that time I have worked with men, women, teens, and families on a wide variety of issues. Sometimes that work simply involved helping them through a particular incident or life change that overwhelmed them. Other times our work together centered around longstanding issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. With years of both institutional and outpatient experience, I enjoy helping people move from a place they can no longer tolerate to a place where they feel more happy and effective. I also provide clinical supervision for LPC residents.
I provide clinically sound Christian and traditional counseling. I use cognitive and cognitive behavioral therapies to help people better understand how life events have impacted them and make changes accordingly. I also offer Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or "Tapping". EFT is helpful for clients with trauma, anxiety, or deep seated issues.
