In-person and virtual session availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
You may be noticing that the ways you’ve always coped, the things you've always believed, or the way you’ve pushed yourself just aren’t working anymore. Anxiety and self-doubt can feel louder during life transitions, throughout the demands of parenting, or as you begin to question your past and future—including faith, community, or high-control environments. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we can gently untangle what no longer serves you and build a more grounded, self-trusting way forward, all at your own pace.

One thing we can be sure of is that life will take unexpected twists and turns. Along the way we can stray from ourselves, loose our essence, and feel overwhelmed. Through therapy, we can reclaim ourselves and build on our natural intuition. Growing up in a blended and bilingual household—speaking English and Spanish—I understand how important culture and experiences are in shaping perspective. Clients have shared feelings of relief and comfort knowing that I am knowledgeable of common experiences and aspects that exist within their communities. The therapeutic work can begin without the exhaustive process of explaining everything!

Sometimes we just need a safe space to collect our thoughts, name our hurts, explore our desires and work through our fears. I can offer you a space of hope and reprieve. Together, you and I, will work through the anxiety and sadness that is overshadowing your life, and not allowing you to live the full and authentic life that you desire. I work from a somatic (body-centered) approach, while emphasizing mindfulness and eastern philosophy, as well as incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy.

I provide therapy for lawyers. You’ve mastered the art of staying composed and performing under pressure. But behind the scenes, the stress of carrying so much responsibility can take a toll. Whether it’s the lingering effects of childhood struggles, strained personal relationships, or feeling disconnected from the life you’ve worked so hard to build, the cracks in your armor may be showing. If you’re tired of holding it all together while feeling alone, it’s time for a change.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you don't feel the need to keep that mask on. Where your truest, most vulnerable self is valued, celebrated, and understood. Maybe that mask is suffocating and you're tired of trying to fit in and hoping to embrace a more authentic you, maybe you're trying to heal from the past, grasping for a healthier present and future, or somewhere in between. Wherever you land, I want to collaborate with you on finding a you that feels better, unburdened. Through a caring approach that is LGBTQ+ & neurodivergent affirming, we can get there.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
