Hello, I'm Icy Diamond, a licensed social worker at Radical Change Therapy where I provide a collaborative and safe environment for children to develop healthy behavior patterns and positive coping strategies while working alongside their families to understand their reactions and behavior through the lens of intergenerational interpersonal trauma. Processing family trauma allows parents to understand and rework how they show up for their children, children to seize the maturity and motivation to create new family legacies, and families as a whole to build the rapport and resilience needed to heal and move forward together.

I will work with you to achieve healthy relationships with yourself, your family and friends. I will also assist you in understanding your diagnosis, medications, processing thoughts and feelings. It is my aim to collaborate with you around key factors in your journey to help you better navigate through life’s ups downs. I use a holistic approach to foster mental health and well being. Clients will progress and heal through therapeutic interventions including self-esteem building, CBT and mindfulness. I engage clients in practices for holistic health. This includes spiritual, emotional, social, physical and mental health.

Our clients require training and education on ways to improving coping mechanisms when living with a mental health illness/diagnosis. We train, monitor, and educate clients on skills development for living independently. We teach clients about their psychotropic medication and ensure medication management. We connect and educate clients to and about community resources. We also demonstrate, train, and model self-advocacy skills to our clients. Our clients may have treatment history that includes substance abuse or doctor's recommendation.

Accepting new patients (ages 6 yrs-65 yrs) for Medication Management and limited therapy with online, virtual, or in person appointments available. So if you are a new patient or need a change from your current provider, we're here for you. Our staff will provide a safe space to explore your needs, questions and beliefs in a nonjudgmental environment, while working toward positive solutions for the future. As a small group of experienced mental health professionals, we offer a variety of research-based, therapeutic approaches and medication management, in a comfortable setting without the "big office" feel.

The mission of Serenity Cove Pediatrics (SCP) is to provide integrated holistic mental and behavioral health care for children and families while valuing safety and inclusivity. During my fifteen plus years of pediatric practice, I received specialized mental and behavioral health training to care for children and families with trauma. This includes special experience with children/teens with a history of trauma, foster children, adoptive children, pediatric refugees, kinship care, and high risk vulnerable children. ​ Currently, providing Telehealth assistance with specialized pediatric focused medication management in NY and VA.
